Setting Up Instagram Business Page
Getting an Instagram Business Account:
Download the Instagram App
Open the app and SIGN UP
Enter your email address. If you plan on granting access to multiple users, make sure to use an admin email or TAP Log In with Faceook
Choose your username and password
Fill in your profile info
Tap NEXT
Switching your personal account to an Instagram Business Account:
From your profile, tap the hamburger menu in the upper-right corner
Tap SETTINGS. Some accounts may see Switch to Professional Account from this menu. If you do, tap it. Otherwise, proceed to the next step
Tap ACCOUNT
Choose BUSINESS (unless it makes sense for you to choose Creator)
If you plan to connect your Instagram and Facebook business accounts, follow the steps to connect your account to your Facebook Page
Select your business category and add relevant contact details
Tap DONE

Bio
When potential customers read your bio, they want:
Cut straight to the point: Short and Sweet
Line breaks: A good way to organize bios while including different types of info
Use Emojis: Can save space, reinforce an idea or draw attention
Add a CTA: Tell them why they need to click on your link in bio
Profile Picture: Use photos that are 320x320 pixels, you can use Canva.com to resize. Keep this photo your logo and make it uniform on all social medias
Link in Bio: Recommend LinkTree, Canva’ Link Website - this is the only spot users can organically check out your website or products. Once above 10,000 followers, you can use the swipe up feature in stories
Contact Info: Provide the correct contact information. Email Address, Phone Number or Address. Instagram has buttons that correspond with calling, texting, emailing, etc (you can go to Edit Profile and click on Action Buttons)
Story Highlights and Covers: Another awesome way for users to check you out! Organize stories into saved collections on your page. Recipes, tips, FAQ’s, etc. You can make the highlight covers on Canva.com
